Professor Ru-Jin Huang was honored as a Fellow of the Asian Aerosol Research Assembly (AARA) during the 14th Asian Aerosol Conference, held in Mumbai, India, from December 1 to 4, 2025.

Professor Huang received this honor in recognition of his world-class research on aerosol chemistry and his highly cited work on secondary organic aerosols, haze formation, and health effects.

The Asian Aerosol Research Assembly established the AARA Fellow program to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding service to the AARA and made significant contributions to aerosol science and technology in Asia for more than ten years. AARA Fellows are selected by the AARA Fellows Committee and formally recognized at the Asian Aerosol Conference or another relevant aerosol conference.
